  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, 1/2 teaspoon salt, garlic powder, and olive oil. Gently mix all the ingredients.
  3. Arrange the potatoes on a baking tray. Place in the oven and bake for 35 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  4. Put the fries back into the bowl. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese, parsley, and remaining salt. Toss to coat.
  5. Arrange on the same baking tray and bake for another 8 to 12 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven. Transfer to a serving plate.
