  • 2 baking potato peeled and diced
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a small cooking pot.
  2. Put-in prosciutto or bacon. Cook until the texture becomes crisp.
  3. Add-in onions. Cook until the texture becomes soft.
  4. Put-in the potato. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour-in the water and cream-style corn. Let boil and then simmer for 15 to 18 minutes.
  6. Add half and half, salt, and pepper. Stir and then cook for 1 minute.
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl. Top with cheese.
  8. Serve. Share and enjoy!
