  • 3 pieces baking potato cleaned
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 cups water

  1. Boil the water in a cooking pot.
  2. Once the water starts to boil, add the potatoes with the skin on. Boil for 20 minutes.
  3. Drain the water and let the potatoes cool down.
  4. Place the potatoes in a mixing bowl. Mash using a potato masher or a fork.
  5. Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley, butter and milk. Continue to mash until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve as is or with delicious gravy.
