Grilled Swiss Cheese Sandwich

- 4 slice whole grain bread
- 6 teaspoons butter softened
- 2 slice swiss cheese
Instructions

- Heat a grill pan or non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
- Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice. Place one slice buttered-side down in the skillet.
- Place Swiss cheese slices evenly over the bread in the pan.
- Top with the remaining bread slice, buttered-side up.
- Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Flip carefully with a spatula and cook until the other side is crispy and the cheese is fully melted.
- Transfer to a serving plate and let cool for 1 minute before cutting diagonally if desired.
- Serve immediately while warm and crispy.

Recipe notes
