  • 5 cups leftover steamed white rice
  • 3 pieces longganisa removed from casing and chopped
  • 2 pieces egg
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil

  1. Combine the rice, salt, and garlic powder. Gently mash the mixture until the rice breaks apart and all the ingredients are well distributed.
  2. Heat the oil in a wide frying pan.
  3. When the oil is hot, add the chopped longganisa. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the mashed rice. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  5. Push the rice to one side of the pan to create a space.
  6. Crack the eggs into the open space. Let the eggs cook, then chop them using the tip of your spatula.
  7. Gently mix the eggs with the rest of the ingredients.
  8. Pour in the soy sauce. Stir and cook for one minute.
  9. Transfer to a serving plate.
  10. Serve. Share and enjoy!
